Established in 2019 from Mark’s (Founder) passion for exotic pets, Mark Baba Pets aims to share the privilege Mark had in West Malaysia of owning exotic animals with the Sabahan childrens, who have limited opportunities to see such animals in the East.

Meet Our Visionary Founder
My name is Aaron Mark pius. A proud Sabahan owner for more than 35 species of animals ranging from a combination of furry, whiskers, featherly and scaly animals including farm animals like horses to exotic animals like capybaras. I started developing an interest in exotic pets in the first Movement Control Order (MCO) 2020, where I adopted Chinchilla, Prairie Dog and others in Kuala Lumpur.
My entrepreneurial spirit has led me through various ventures, it was not because I have a pets business in Kuala Lumpur and wanted to expand in Sabah, actually it was never meant to be a business at first, I just simply wanted to bring my pets along with me upon returning to Sabah. Answering any question on whether I have qualifications in handling exotic animals, I’m not a professional and trained handler for exotic animals, it was the love I have for my exotic pets and the sole purpose of wanting to share my privilege I had in Selangor (having exotic pets) to the Sabahan kids on the opportunity to learn about these exotic pets as the opportunity here are quite limited.
Personal achievements:
● Selected as one of the 100 Malaysian entrepreneurs for Alibaba Netpreuners program
hosted Alibaba business School and supported by MDEC
● Appointed as Director of Appsolutely Technologies Pte Ltd.
● Co-founded the concept of a digital village with Parcel 365 Sdn Bhd.
